Growing up in a Christian cult, I was sheltered and presented the church group as a replacement for extended family and friends. Upon changing my beliefs, I was ostracized by the same people I had been given as my whole world. Years afterwards, I began exploring the toll that event and my upbringing in general took on my mental health. This series reflects a lot of the bitterness I felt towards the Christian religion.
